Where is my clipboard history stored?
ClipNest is designed to store clipboard history locally in your browser profile rather than in a ClipNest cloud account.
Why didn’t ClipNest capture something automatically?
Browsers restrict clipboard access in some contexts. ClipNest can also skip excluded websites, sensitive fields, internal browser pages, or capture while paused. Manual Capture is available when browser rules prevent automatic capture.
Can I recover a forgotten security PIN?
No. Protected clips are designed so the PIN is not recoverable by ClipNest. Keep your PIN somewhere safe if you enable encrypted protected entries.
Can I move my history to another browser or computer?
ClipNest includes encrypted export and import tools. Keep backup passwords and exported files secure because they may contain sensitive clipboard information.
Which browsers does ClipNest support?
ClipNest is currently available through the Chrome Web Store for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers. Firefox support may be offered separately in the future.
